Awesome prototype, unsettling, and I love the variance that both the different types of pills add along with the items. Looking forward to the full release!

The game you created was incredibly fun!The system is well-designed, and the idea of gambling with pills is both unique and exciting.The visuals are also amazing!I’m really looking forward to the full release.If possible, I’d be happy to see Japanese language support in the future.But even without it, I’ll definitely play your game!

reminds me of something I did

I almost lost the first time I tried to play this drug roulette. If you guys decide to go ahead and finish this prototype game, I'll give you this great horror game when the game full release

Really fun! Brings a new, unique atmosphere to the buckshot roulette style gameplay, I played through this three times, and will probably come back to play again!

This game is really cool you can put so many interesting things in the future. Can't wait to see the full game

Very interesting game concept! The character design weirdly reminds me of Psychonauts. It's unsettling but also really neat. Excited to see where the game goes!

very cool concept and very fun game

Fun game, I loved the anticipation of taking the pills and not knowing what was going to happen with more and more pills being placed on the table. This is the first of games like this I've played

Wow, I really enjoyed this game!

I’ve seen the comments and know it’s getting a lot of attention—but for something made in just 10 days, this was seriously impressive.

Taking the “trust your fate” mechanic from Buckshot and throwing it into a more twisted, psychotic environment? I love it! It felt raw, unsettling, and totally fresh.

I might’ve just gotten lucky, but I didn’t run into any bugs—so I can’t really speak to that side of things.

All in all: bravo. Super fun experience, and I’d love to see what this game could become with more time and development behind it.

Hi! So as someone who has taken anti-depression meds their whole teen life, this game grabbed my attention. Not only did it remind me of Buckshot Roulette but the art style, it being creepy making my skin crawl, it feels extremely well done. I've played many games made within days that amazed me and this is one of them. I posted it on my Youtube (: 

My opponent used a hammer on the pill and then just didn't take a pill afterwards, even though there were pills on the table

Yea, I've seen that bug too, he uses an item and then just stops, it's already been reported, and the creator is working on the enemy ai

couple of things/ideas
1. introduce a pill container that has all placebos(like 2-5 pills), but if you take more than 1 of that type in a row, you lose a life anyways, kinda like an overdose feature

2. love the animations, but I want more variety in items

3. Multiplayer/option for more subjects, you might wanna change how the map works, but it would be more interesting for an experienced player

4. option for more/less items, IDC how you implement it, I just want variety

Btw I do love the game, the gameplay loop is addictive, but I had many ideas after like 14 rounds

Slight Bug report for you

  1. During a round i got a skip turn mint
  2. During same round he got a copyer
  3. He used the copyer to copy my mint
  4. he then refused to continue the match with this much pills on the table
    I hope this assists you in what possibly could cause this bug as this is a fun game idea

Short but enjoyable. Nicely done for a game made in 10 days. Could definitely see this get popular if you work more on it. Would be nice with some other side effects, expressions, horror elements, endings, and such. Maybe even multiplayer. A cool concept for sure.

Cool game! Once I was stuck on the opponent's turn, and had to restart because it wouldn't load, but after a while, I won!

sorry about that, the enemy AI is still a bit broken. We are currently trying to fix/improve him

Either I am just really good or the game needs more balancing and smarter ai, since on my first try I won and took zero damage (I got lucky) and you can win pretty easy. I think having the drug test of the enemy show exactly which pill was taken makes things quite easy. I just felt that made it too easy to trick them into taking it themselfs, since then you can just pick any other pill if the enemy does not take it and I’ve noticed they prefer to go for the blue pill even though there is only one left (so death is guaranteed). So if you plan the usage of your items, you can consistantly win. Staying on the topic of items, letting me choose the items myself is too good. If we take a look at buckshot roulette (the inspiration), you get random items and you need to work with what you get. Here I can just pick the drug test, duplication (since it allows me to duplicate items from the enemy as well) and skip all the time and I just win. I did really like the tolerance mechanic, since that adds a bit of extra strategy. But by having that mechanic you can just skip your turns and just have them die by letting their tolerance run out (I thought it was too easy, but I think that might be intentional). I agree with other commenters saying that having the first level just be luck is not the most fun thing, since there isn’t any mechanic (to my knowledge) to force the enemy to take a pill, which I think is a welcome feature. I think this was done to prevent the game from being to similar to buckshot roulette, but I would like to see some sort of a counter in the first round, like having a single item for example.

thanks for the feedback! The enemy AI is very broken at the moment and the way they use items is not right. We are trying to improve the enemy AI and item using first. The drug test suggestion is definitely a solution we can try out. 

The choosing 2/4 items was done to add some strategy. But like you pointed out there might be some items that are considered way stronger than others. Maybe we can potentially add a weighting system based on items. At the moment the enemy AI doesn’t use items in the right way but we hope that when it is multiplayer that choosing items will become more clear.

As for the first round being random. We wanted to make the first round luck not to overwhelm the player with new information. But we will add item choice in the first round as soon as the player has beaten the AI once. We want to potentially add a campaign

I personally found the AI quite good, even if it isn't perfect. In fact I only won 1 of my 5 runs to be honest XD. He did use an injection at the end of a round for no apparent reason (he had enough inventory slots for new objects). But apart from that, unless I was unlucky, he properly used every object for a reason. He once ate the last blue in my runs, but in that case it was his last life and he had 1 tolerance left, so there was no good option anyways.

And although I ate the bad pill 4/5 times on the first round, I didn´t see that round innecessary. Because it maight work as a pill tutorial so you don't learn about pills and objects the same round.

You have good points, though. I just comment to give a little bit more of feedback.
